Business and Implementation Consultant Energy and Utilities Sector

Intro Intro

The main purpose of the role is to own the relationship with both the customer and internal business team(s) during the system implementation process. The implementation consultant will ensure business and technology teams are apprised and prepared for new features and functional changes, which will impact existing systems and processes.

Verantwoordelijkheden Verantwoordelijkheden

  • Identify opportunities for business process and system improvements / optimizations (requirement gathering).
  • Represents the customer’s needs and expectations for product deliverables.
  • Manage internal business request workflow from requirements gathering and prioritization through pilot and implementation.
  • Serve as representative of the business team for implementation discussions.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting to Management.
  • Coordinate resources for project implementation and release testing.
  • Work with various stakeholders to define and prioritize project objectives, critical success factors and risks, and incorporate these factors into each project plan.
  • Track and escalate risks and issues as appropriate.
  • Ensures all product stakeholders are updated on project status and sprint outcomes.
  • Facilitates discussions between internal and external product stakeholders.
  • Shares information on product development activities to drive continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of agile project management / Scrum.

YOU ARE

YOU HAVE

  • A bachelor’s, university degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the energy and utility market.
  • Former experience in leading large teams.
  • High level of initiative, accountability, and an eye for quality.
  • Strong analysis and analytical skills.
  • Ability to self-manage time and priorities.
  • Language knowledge: Dutch (native) and good knowledge of English. Basic knowledge of other languages is a plus (German or French)

LOCATION

  • Offices in Amsterdam and Antwerp, Clients throughout The Netherlands.
  • Willingness to travel both in Benelux and outside can be an added value.
